Way back in the 1980’s --  Amanda Woodward was just a twinkle in a producer’s eye, and Joel Goodsen was still learning how to play air guitar in his underwear -- there was an infamous screen test involving two young Hollywood hopefuls. Their names?  Why, Heather Locklear and Tom Cruise!  Watch their screen test, which led to nothing more than a few laughs and a “quickie date,” as described by Heather Locklear on an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, during the summer of 1998.
